The Forest Park

Ribfest is held at a

place called "The

Grove".

Our booth was directly

across from "Forms In

Motion", a trapeze and

juggling entertainment

group.

The performers were

about 15-20 feet off

the ground, with no

net!

The booth next to ours

was the sand painting

booth.

At times there was

more traffic at sand

painting than our

booth, but things

improved in the

afternoon.

I didn't try the "Fried

Milky Way" bars, but

did taste the Chi-Town

ribs. I suggested that

the secret is in the

sauce, but Mike

Kusnierz says actually

good ribs begin with

the rub. Mike says that

he plans to enter the

contest next year.
